Heading to Pamporovo with the family for our first visit. Is it really true that Malina Chalets is closed due to rats?! We have reservations there! What can anyone tell me BEFORE we get a surprise at arrival?re: Malina Chalets in Pamps - Open?!

Just got back from Malina with my family. It was our first trip too. Chalets were basic but functional. They lack storage space, so don't go thinking there will be loads of space to hang things up! Basically, we lived out of our suitcases for a week, but that didn't matter and we had a really fantastic time. The Chalets are warm and ideally situated for the slopes. It's about a 200 yard walk to the lifts and avoids all the trouble of finding a coach. In the evening, it's a 10 lev ...

In the evening, it's a 10 lev taxi ride to the town (or 7 lev if you use the clapped out old Lada that the Porters use to run you into town).
