Malina Chalets

I'm off to Pamp on the 14th with family - first time to Bulgaria. Really looking forward to the trip. I'm staying in the Malina Chalets which appear to be close to the slopes, but out of town.

How easy will in be to get into the town in the evening? Is it walkable or do I need a taxi?

The kids are 8 and 9, so will there be a problem with them being in the bars with us? Not sure how strict the Bulgarians are!

Thanks for your help.

Hey Gub,

I'm staying @ Malina the week after you guys....

You can walk to town, bit chilly though and taxis are easy to find and no more than a couple of quid. Bars will generally be fine with the kids, you will probably be more tired than they are......

I'm sure you will love it...

Thanks IMT.

Another question (sorry mate), but as I'm arriving late Saturday, I'll need some Levs before getting on the slopes Sunday. Where do you suggest I change some UK£ on a Sunday, or do I need to bring some with me?

re: Malina Chalets

Best bet mate is to change £50 or so to get you through the first day or 2 so you can get your bearings.
