Malina Village, Borovets

Has anyone stayed in the Malina Village Chalets? I'd like to know what, if any, type of heating is in the chalet e.g. radiators, log fire and how effective it was. Also how long does it take on foot to reach the centre of Borovets. Many thanks.
Julie

re: Malina Village, Borovets

Hi Julie, just got back from the Yagoda village which is on the same complex, heating in our chalet was provided by radiators it was always lovely and warm,in my opinion to far to walk into the centre but they do provide a regular shuttle bus but we mainly used taxis for speed and convenience and the cost was 10 levs one way which we thought was quite reasonable, hope this helps, cheers Paul

re: Malina Village, Borovets

Stayed at Malina a few years ago and there was radiators, but more to the point, there was underfloor heating in the living room!!! (which you don't get in Yagoda) It was the best experience of my life and many evenings i feel asleep lying on the warm floor. Better still to dry out your coats etc, just lay them on the floor.
I'm not sure if it was "real" underfloor heating or just all the pipes etc, but trust me it was brill.
Too far to walk to town, and roads well bad - even i wouldn't ...
