re: Malina Village

Hey Derek,

Are looking at Pamp or Boro? Both resorts have a Malina Village that look identical! Stayed at Malina in Pamp in Feb and loved it... won't bore you with the details yet incase you are going to Boro. Let me know....

re: Malina Village

We stayed at the Yagoda Village across the road in 2003 facilities very similar only main difference is the style of chalet. Warm and comfortable but don't go expecting to self cater. Apart from the chalets being limited in this respect there is very little to choose from in the shops.

A little out of town for our liking and with 2 young children it was too far to walk. By the time we had got back after skiing it was time to change and go out for tea so we tended toi stay in town, bumboard have tea and go back at about 8pm. The ski bus in the morning was good and several ran at the peak times. It was limited in the evening as by the time we had collected the children from the kindergarten they had stopped to take the workers back to Smokov!! We tended to use taxis which were cheap at 10 lev.

This year we chose to stay in town which was better from our point of view especially when it came to apres ski!!

I hope this all helps - yell if you want to know more

Del

Possibly, but don't worry as you will have a great time anyway and you will have saved loads to spend on Booze by going B&B or self catering anyway!!

Have fun!!
