Manchester to Plovdiv to Bansko

Has anyone done the 9 a.m. Sunday flight and transfer as above? How was it? Anything we, as two worried newbies, should look out for or be prepared for? (No mafia jokes please!) Lack of snow not a problem, will be taking lots of good books!! Also any more info about the Apartments Narcis would be appreciated.Cheers,

They tell me the Narcis is finished and everything is up and running, blog back once you have been as we are out there 24th Feb. Plovdiv to Bansko is a bitch! Last year it took 4hrs to get there and seven and a half on the way back. What is says in the Balkan book is not quiet correct. It will only be 3.5hrs if the mountain pass is open if there is nothing else on the road and the driver does not stop.
As he has to stop for us to have a pee break at least twice the journey time goes ...

Hi,We did journey from Plovdiv to Bansko last week. It took 4 hours gettin there, and return journey it was 3.5 hours. That included one 15 min stop. We didn't expect it to be this long (from what we read we thought it was going to be about 2 hours). I think once you are prepared for it, is should be ok.
