Manila chalets

Hi i'm heading to Borovets on new years eve and was wondering if anyone had stayed in these chalets on a previous holiday? If so what are they like??

not much on-site and the term self catering is albeit fraudulent due to the lack of amenties. Quite spacious, very quiet, picturesque and warm!!

we stay there in feb nice and warm pleasent but the grub a bit off a let down so we ate out everynight but nice places going back in feb to the same place

Am confused! Are you talking about the Malina Chalets in Pamporovo? Or are there Malina Chalets in Borovets too?

Hi Jim.We're going on 31st too from b'ham and won't arrive until late.Looks like us and our boys (13,4 and 3) are going to go hungry.Still,I've just looked at the webcam and I'm feeling happier!

Jim, just to clarify I was referring to the Malina Vilage in Borovets. We eat out every night although the grub on-site wasn't too bad when we arrived late from our flights. Main problem with the chalet was the inability to use the toilet as the flush was non-existent.

Is it me or are the toilet cubicles in Borovets only built for anyone under 5 ft?!

Been to both Malina and Yagoda in Boro, Yagoda has the edge but both OK, Nice and hot, take a trevel kettle and instand coffee etc, Take taxi at 10LEv inot town or get the free bus. Nice small friendly bar at entrance to Malinam

There are Malina Chalets in both Borovets and Pamarova.
