March Skiing

Hey,

Tempted to come over later this year, we're looking at mid March. Judging by past years, what sort of conditions are we looking at? Only ever been in Feb before

we went over in march one year and had the best conditions of the season. steve.g

I have done March twice, both time were mid month, we had 1 excellent conditions and 1 terrible, could not ski anywhere only at the top. It is quiet in resort then as well.

Was out Borovets last March and it was the best I have seen, even powder at the top!! and sometimes felt like I was the only one on the hill, often hear that its good in March from locals. So will be back out in Boro on 9th March. Hope this helps

Beginning of march and mid march is often very good, sometimes even excellent powder condition,...Altrough i do not recommand late march or beginning of april, we where there last year, last weekend of the season, even the snow conditions were still very good, we had snowfall but most of the restaurants and pubs and disco were allready closed
