Markudjik runs closed??

The Borosports web site states that these runs at the top of the gondola are shut!

Surely this is nonsense as there is ~2m of snow up there??????

Very high winds at the top and a bit dodgy. That's why. They were talking about closing the gondola as early as 10am this morning.

Shut early as the weather was a little "inclement". Shame as there was a load of fresh snow overnight. Made it difficult for Pete to organise the ski-a-thong, but we got there.

There is not 2 m of snow on the top - the pistes are in places coming through with vegetation and rocks. 2m of snow may well have fallen this winter, but it surely ain't all there now.
