Bulgaria Ski discussion board

This lift for some unknown reason operates very occasionally in three years I have only seen it operate for two days these being Bulgarian holidays when the resort is rather busy. Ask the instructors why and nobody knows... For anyone with some experience in skiing this is disappionting as the third lift gives access to the avalanche mogul field and beyond to a small hut at the foot of the mousala peak with some varied off piste. A long walk is required without the lift but is still worth it. Hoped this year it would be open a bit more as the single seat chair isnt operating. Haven't seen any sign of that yet though.. There is plenty of other runs which are not really applicable to beginners so quiet skiing can usally be found. Try Yasberetes 3. The olympic red pretty cool.
