Markujik 3

Anyone who has returned from boro recently, can you shed some light on as to why the Markujik3 run is closed? I am presuming that its due to high winds or avalanche risk as its at highest point of the mountain???

Having skied at Borovets the last 2 years, that run isnt really pisted much, the piste machines rarely get over there. It is often just left for people to use it as off-piste (if they even open the 3rd drag lift that is - often they dont even do that).

My best guess would be that after the recent heavy snowfall it would be closed due to avalanche risk.

apart from climing, is there any other way to get to it if the 3rd drag is closed??

no. I have never seen this drag working. Dont know why this is.
