You mean not Zagra, but Zagorka beer, right? Some of the best beer in BG are Kamenitza,Shumensko, but there are so many others-all worth the try...Every town makes its own!About food-it's not hot only for health reasons(so you don't burn your tongue, throat and for good your stomach digestion).
Just back from Finlandia on Sunday, the hotel is lovely and very picturesque with the snow. Beer is about 70p for a 500ml bottle of local or Amstel, stella 500ml is about £1.04. A bottle of wine with dinner is £4.80, the drinks seemed a little cheaper here than the other hotels. Hi Gill
I am very fussy and always managed to find something to eat, but always had a big lunch so didn't eat much dinner. The hotel is a few minuntes bus ride (free bus) from the ski depo and a few minutes bus ride to the other hotels/bars/restuarants etc. You can get the hotel bus at night for 1 lev each at 7pm and 8pm into resort and back again at 10pm, a taxi will cost between 12 and 15 leva. The swimming pool is free, the jacuzzi is 9 leva for 2 people for 20 mins or 6 leva for one, and not sure how much you pay for the sauna and steam room. We had a great time and are going back to the Finlandia next year, hope this helps.
