Noticed on a previous posting that you were at Malina Village in Pamp last year..... We are going (8 of us) on 21st Feb so we are having 2 chalets. What are your thoughts on the accomodation - proximity to slopes / ski school etc.
Hi Mike, yeah 4 of us 2 couples stayed last year, one massive bed and the other room and two sperate ones, that we re-arranged that to make a double. I would say if you are light sleepers maybe ear plugs would help coz theirs a fair amount of barking dogs early in the morning. The town is a taxi away, they only charge a few levs and the guys who work on site run the taxis, theirs a few clubs, bars and shops etc and it can get quite lively. The slopes are a short icy road walk down to the lifts, change into your gear at the hire place and your away !
One word of advice I would go for insurance with no accesses, if you hurt yourself the docs love it as, and they will charge you in cash, most insurance is £100 on misc health care, which is a lot of dosh for them to rub your knee ! Other than that we had such a good time, we decided to try Borovets this new year, if it's half as good as Pamps we'll be pleased have a good one !!
