First let me say that Borovets will always have special memories for me as it was my first ever ski holiday. I thought it was a really good resort and was very very close to booking to go back there this year. It was almost a toss of a coin between going there or checking out Bansko.

Dave,
Things have been a bit hectic since I got back, hence the 4 day satelite delay in replying to your Boro v Bansko question.
First let me say that Borovets will always have special memories for me as it was my first ever ski holiday. I thought it was a really good resort and was very very close to booking to go back there this year. It was almost a toss of a coin between going there or checking out Bansko.
Boy am I glad that the coin came down on the side of Bansko. Take nothing away from Borovets but Bansko just seems to have that little touch of magic that you can't quite put your finger on.
So in answer to your question it's Bansko for me (until it gets too over developed then i'll be back to Boro!).
Re Sir Gallahad's, missed that one I'm affraid. Spent most of my time in Amigo's.
Pamps has it as well but in a much smaller dose. There are however, some things in Pamps that Bansko is missing. The mountain restaurants for example. Far more choice in Pamporovo.
It'll be Bansko for me until the Gondola lift queue reaches the road.
