hi,
no there not to bad at the mo, i have just got the brackets on at the mo though. this tuesday i have to have the wire and colour, so then it might hurt a little bit. but they are fine apart from there is loads of things im not allowed to eat and drink , and we went to a party last nite and i wasn't aloud any fizzy drinks so i have to live with water !
also my mate said i will have to get used to every one telling me no smilling and looking into my mouth! ...hee hee!
i am getting used to them now though and thanks for thinking of me!
I had my braces when I was an adult and it's much worse. I had my first wires put in on a Friday morning and that evening, took my scouts away to camp - I still survived.
Smile lots and don't listen to everyone - you can have great fun with the colours and the only thing I found I couldn't do was bite into an apple or a carrot - I still drank fizzy drinks and didn't have any problems - just brush your teeth after you do.
