I ordered a Bulgariaski.com Polo shirt end of Jan through Gerald Barnes, ordered over the phone and gave him my credit card details. Had a call this evening from my bank saying my card had been 'compremised' and they needed to cancel it and issue me a new one. Apparently it has tried to be used but it was reported to Visa as suspicious. Seems very coincidential that I give my card details out over the phone then a week later this happens? Not suggesting Gerald is involved, but I ...

Hi DDT - Sounds Very Odd 
Firstly I would suggest you ring Gerald tomorrow and ask where the shirt is as you should have received it by now.
Secondly I can 100% assure you of Geralds charector. He is about 60 years old and has been a personal friend of ours for many many years. It sounds as if he also may have had problems in getting payment which is why you have not reveived your shirt yet. I'm sure a quick call to him will clear some things up Trev, maybe not the card but certainly ...

Have just paid for my to shirts, recall your past thread. I've had no problem but Gerald does come over as a confused character. How the parcel got delivered was byond me with his miss spelling.

I rang Gerald just after I posted the thread. Like S.P. said he seems a bit confused. However, he said he's had problems with his credit card machine and tried today to put the payment through a few times. Seems Visa picked it up as suspicious and informed my bank, where card was cancelled and a new one will be issued. I've arranged to send Gerald a cheque in post Sat. So no harm done (impressed with the bank though!) Hopefully will receive shirt soon!... Roll on 21 ...

Yes - Gerald's spelling is dreadful
Always spell every word to him. Trev your shirt will probably read Daire Devel Trever
