re: Message for PP

You could always string together a couple of plastic cups and trade e-mails by talking in to one end whilst the person at the other end holds the cup to his/her ear. Apparently this kind of communication is supposed to be highly secure and in my opinion it will be the next biggest thing in 2005.

On a more serious note..........

Does anyone ever take walkie talkies / 2-way radios with them to the slopes? If so, how do they perform and what range radios do you use?

Jonty there has been loads of discussion on this. For best results use the search button for prices, suppliers etc.

Was it you who was battling with Balkan ?

re: Message for PP

I generally use the 'Oi you move or die' technique to communicate on the slopes.

Or leaving messages in the snow or empty bottles on bar tables.

No news is good news..........so they say......... Neutral

Better go search for walkie talkie posts.......

re: Message for PP

You will note that I never put my e-mail address on line.

Unfortunately if you do, you leave yourself open to unwanted e mails from just about anybody, which happened to me last year.

I wont elaborate Sad

Yes we always use walkie talkies in Pamporovo, with a 5 mile radius to get the signals over the mountains.

Saves a bomb on mobile phone use. You can pick them up new on E Bay for under £30.
