Bulgaria Ski discussion board

As a causal user of the site I add comments when I feel I can add benefit. I have been to Borovets 3 times and will be making my fourth visit in a months time. I chuck in my pennies worth when I feel I can help. I pick what topics I reply to by looking at the questions. Personally I don't get involved with Little Fleetys banter because I'm 30 and she wants to chat to others of her age and find out about her exciting holiday ahead. I think its great though that she and others of her age take an active interest in the site and contribute in there own way.
To summarise I use the site because I like it, I feel I can sometimes help and I like a bit of banter, I do however chose which banter to get involved with. Therefore in my opinion the site works perfectly well and does not need altering at all. Pamporovo Pete thank you for all the input you give, I hope that the negative comments don't deter you to much. Without people like you the site wouldn't be half as good and we don't want that now do we?!?!?!?!?

PS I hear the snow is rubbish and Bulgaria is run by gun carrying conmen... is this true????? (JOKE)!!!!!!!

Thanks Greg, I always read your postings with great interest, and you are a valued poster to this site.

Back in November, I was posting on here with about 10 replies and questions a day. Now it has grown to the success it is today, and that is without changing anything. The sheer volume of people that post on here determine what the current topics are. Can you imagine a chat room with over 1,000 postings a day holding any subject for more than 5 minutes.

Since being on this board I have met many great people. Judith is coming down for a meal with me and my wife on Sunday, Iron Mike is meeting me for a drink later this week, Ally I met in the summer from the Summer Discussion Board, Em is a friend I met in Bulgaria 5 years ago, Lizard and I will meet again in 12 days time and so on....... all through this and the summer boards.

It's here, it's staying, and it ain't gonna change.

Great comments Greg and everyone (except Tom ).

The forum is free to all, we dont need to read / like / enjoy all the posts on the board. We can use our the subject lines to decide whether the post sounds interesting to ourselves or whether to ignore it.

The board itself is very useful with lots of great tips from very helpful people and despite the same questions such as 'can I take $ with me' or 'what it the exchange rate in levs for...' people do not mind answering these again and again.

Keep up the good work posters. Keep up the great moderator work PP. Goodness knows how you get time to read all the posts on here!!!!

I unfortunately, am not going skiing this winter, as I can only afford to have my main summer hols this year, but after finding the BeachBulgaria site before going to Sunny Beach last year I became hooked. As that site is quiet in the winter I moved across to this one. Purely to read peoples comments with interest. I know nothing about Bulgaria in the winter but sometimes a general subject crops up about Bulgaria which I sometimes comment on.

Please keep the posts coming, it keeps me going through the long winter until I can resume the chat on the summer board.
