Hi,

Sorry if this a stupid question. I still dont know when to go to Bansko. Now Im considering late February. When is the busiest the time in Feb so I try to avoid that week.

It will always be busy as long as there is good snow, but the main time to avoid is the UK school half term.

Amasing what you can find on Google if you type in School Holidays 2007!

I believe 1/2 term in the UK commences 19th Feb 2007

As for Bulgaria - god knows! and maybe, just maybe Google does too

About half the schools in England are on half term the week before, the Feb half term has gone over two weeks for the past two years. Last year the first week was verrrrrrrrrrrry busy, worse than over Christmas and the New Year the year before.

first week 10th feb second week is the 17th feb think more seem to be off 17th this year, crystal made a big mistake at first release of holidays as well and the 17th was realy cheap so plenty of people will have snapped up a bargin! now same price as the 10th

Looking at the brochure prices, 11-18 Feb is most expensive, 18-25 Feb slightly cheaper (but not by much!!), so I reckon they would be good times to avoid.

Half term in this area (Suffolk) starts Monday 12th Feb. If that helps at all.

well i go to borovets every year in school holiday feb 11 never a problem the most people in a que would be max 20 people never waited for twenty minutes like some resorts probablly waited max ten minutes and thats due to someone fallinf off or missing chair lift i am still amazed at how quite it gets plus so many runs to choose from ps if you go up chair lift yes a big que may be 30 minute wait but thats firt one in the morning go half hour later no probs happy drinking .skiing
