Hi Guys & Girls.
On the 11th February there will be nine guys descending on Borovets, all different abilities and I’m sure from my past experience everyone will have a great time…
However, with the recent news of the main run being closed during our visit I want to look at hiring a minibus + driver to take us from Borovets to Bansko and back. I’m fully aware the driver is about 2hrs in there and 2hrs back.
Plan would be to leave at 6:45/7am to arrive in Bansko for 9ish and then leave ...

Since we will have the numbers it should work out cost effective.
Can anyone help with a name/number or a company I could contact now before I arrive out there.
It’s a shame that the conditions are not perfect and the event is taking over the best run but will just have to work with what we have!

If you look on the motoroads.com website it will cost £262.10 for a mini bus transfer for 9. It states a transfer time of 3hrs 10mins though.

Your problem is that you number 9... minibus and driver hire up to 8 passengers could work out around 100 E for the trip, adding one passenger will require a bigger vehicle, likely a 15 or 18 seater, this will also require a PSV driver who will be on a tacho limiting his driving hours... this comes a lot more expensive. If you split the group you could perhaps look at a minibus and car trip, this could work out cheaper than a bus... We do the trip from Bansko to Borovets and we charge 40lv ...

Good info. I'm thinking of either hiring a car and going to Bansko for 2 days (to include an overnight stay) or possibly arrange the whole trip through another company. I will give Hunters a call.

Our price is 60lv per head Steve. Minimum 4people. If the number goes up it does give discount depending on number to around 50lv per person. You are quoting 5years ago prices. Petrol has trebled etc etc hence prices had to go up.Contact Gerry on here he may be able to help along with hunters. I know Gerry has a group wanting to go this week and there are only 3people so he would have room which means you would then only need another bus for 8people or less.
