Mobile phones in Boro

Anyone know what it's like phoning UK on a mobile from Borovets? Possible/impossible??? What networks and costs?

I USED MY VODAFONE LAST YEAR IT WAS FINE BUT WANT SURE HOW
MUCH I ENDED UP PAYING.

I used my vodafone last week, no problem, haven't paid yet. Other half couldn't get a signal on orange for the whole week.

Used Orange when there at Xmas coverage was a bit hit and miss throughout the week

Used Virgin (T-Mobile) in Borovets last week no problems.
Check the rates we your supplier. Virgin 60p/minute to make a call, 30p/minute to receive a call, 25p per text.
It just depends who your supplier has a roaming ralationship with. Mobitel have the best coverage (even have a mast on top of the Rila, that'll stop the NIMBY's from booking there then!).
