Mobile sim card

Can you buy mobile sim cards for gsm phones in pamp, 4 couples going in different hotels so it would be handy to keep in touch, how much are they and how do you top them up?> Buy a voucher?

They can be bought, but I never bothered, why not grab a few 2 way radios from Maplins?

They are great when you are the mountain too..
