Hi, me again!Any tips regarding the money, we have been told there is no cash machine in the resort, and the preferred tender is either local or American dollar.
Is this true? and what about Pound Sterling, is it best to take this and change it there!??

I went to boro last year there was cash machines i used one. Take sterling not dollars change locally notes must in good condition with no writing on them. If you look back through earlier postings there is lots of info on the rate of exchange ect.Mike

There are certainly cash machines in both Pamporovo and Borovets - I know that cos I've used them.
In Pamps I found the cash machine in the lobby of the Mourgavets. In Borovets, I found two - one at the bottom of the gondola and the other on the road up from the gondola towards the Breza hotel.
Pound sterling is good to take, not anything else, and certainly not dollars. Change a few pounds into Lev before you leave and leave the rest in your bank account to take out of the hole in ...

No, only going by what I have been told by some friends that went their some time ago (several years!)Just getting in the mood with only a month to go!, and wanting to find out as much as possible.
