re: Money Exchange

Hi Pete,
Welcome to the site.

Take some levs, about £50 worth to get you started, and any other cash in clean sterling notes. You can use your cards to withdraw cash from the ATM's but very few if any places will accept cards for payment. Cash Only.

And yes, there will be tons of snow in Jan Razz

Hi Pete,
Thanx for the reply.
Do Bars and Resturants accept Sterling?

re: Money Exchange

They will in some cases, but it is much easier if you change it into Levs. Use sterling for larger purchases such as clothes or ski gear.

Never change any money with strangers no matter what rate they offer, as you can be 100% sure they will con you with fake or useless notes. Instead use main banks or your hotel reception and that way you'll not get 'ripped off'.

Pete Knows best !!!
I changed my sterling to levs at the perelik reception in january and got the best rate i'd seen. Don't take chances with your hard earned cash when it easy and safe !
Why would you?
