what kinda money will i need and where should i get it from?cash machine of over the counter?
also where is a good place to eat there is 9 of us going on the 2nd jan but we all have mixed foood tastes.
and the hotel food is not very nice ive heard? is this true?

Hi,havin been to Borovets about a dozen times,you will get a better rate using ££££££££££ they love the £,happy duck is good for food,the hotel breakfasts are not too bad,evening meals a bit dodgy,eating out is cheap,re: Money & Eating Out?
I was in Samokov 6 weeks ago which is only down the road from the Bovorets and I took 11 out for a meal at one of the best places to eat. We all had beers, several bottles of wine, 3 course meal and coffees after and the total bill was still under £40 but these prices may vary at the resorts.
Changing money through cash machines can be expensive with a poor rate of exchange and high transaction charges and most places out of the resort do not take plastic.

In Bovorets to the right of the Samokov hotel is a small bar/resturant called "Sunski" which is owned by a good friend of mine called Ollegg. He will be able to feed and wine you at a very reasonable price. He also hires out ski equipment which is all new this year.
