Money-how much?

Hi all!
Not long to go now-cant sleep for thinking about it!

Just wondered how much spending money we should take? We half board but may obv want to eat out sometimes and want to try skidooing etc if we can. Any suggestions? Also, is it a good idea to take all Lev out there? Cash machines etc ok?
Thanks!

xx

Went on the 11th Feb, struggled to spend £200. We ate well but apart from lunches ate in the hotel and drank well. It depends very much on whether you go for the local beers and spirits or imported ones which work out more expensive.
The £200 included a private ski lesson, two massages and a snow board taster, plus I had to buy a new suitcase for my daughter as her's split on the way out.

Apart from the quiz night and bum boarding we didn't do any of the travel companies organised activities qas we did them last year.
Very Happy

re: Money-how much?

Thanks for that, think I may take about £150-200 and my cash card just in case! Do you know how much skidooing costs?

We paid in sterling (£25.00 each) with the Balkan Holidays rep, that was for over an hour up forest tracks to a big open area some way form the resort (could see the tower about 3 miles away), really quiet, no skiers in the way, fantastic scenery, great skidoos (don't press any buttons tho' as theres one which puts it in reverse!!)

Thought that was pretty good value, just like everything else in Pamps. Did the Bulgarian Folk evening as well, got a bit plastered on the included drinks, but learnt some great dances! (make your own way back though as the reps bus left early (about 10.30) before it really began to kick off, we had a great laugh and learnt lots of new Bulgarian words from the others, this was not just a Brits only do, lots of Bulgarians showing us the way.
