what the best thing to do when going to borovets? is it best to take just cash in sterling then change it there. or can you just use your debit card? any ideas would be grateful. flying out on the 6th march if anyone wants to meet up then contact me
The hotel will give you approc 2.5
Banks will give you 2.6
You can get 2.7 - BUT BE CAREFUL - ONLY FROM SOMEONE YOU CAN TRUST, perhaps you ski instructor.
Your switch card will get you nearly 2.8 if you can use it. Mine was OK.

Credit/debit cards are not generally accepted in shops.
There are 2 cash machines, one was usually empty late in the day. Especially on weekends.
The exch rate was better out there so taking sterling is an option and changing it locally, if you trust the dodgy looking kiosks or banks. I changed my money in the UK and just took a bundle of levs which i kept in the safety deposit box at the hotel. Prices are all displayed in Levs, so taking ...
