Moura Hotel

A few people were asking what the Moura was like and if I could post something when I got back. So here you go.

The Hotel is more or less what I expected. Functional and clean. Nothing to write home about but I have definately been in worse. The higher floor you are on the smaller the room tho as the triangle shape creates. I think the top floor has large rooms tho. All the wood is darkwood and the brown tiles does give the rooms a dated appearance but like I said it is clean and ...

The Hotel is more or less what I expected. Functional and clean. Nothing to write home about but I have definately been in worse. The higher floor you are on the smaller the room tho as the triangle shape creates. I think the top floor has large rooms tho. All the wood is darkwood and the brown tiles does give the rooms a dated appearance but like I said it is clean and maintained.

The food is basic but you have choice. Starters vary and you pick your own then you get a choice of 3 main courses which you order and they bring so it is hot at least. Desert is always a choice of cake and fruit. It's not gormet stuff but at least it is edible if a little bland at times.

The safe deposit is wierd as they put your stuff in a paper bag and steel it. Then put it in the safe. I saw some people took their own lockup box and got them to put it in the safe which is a good idea. They charge 21 lev for this.

Now the wierd bit. In the cellar is the playboy bar which is, well I only herd the rumors, but I will leave this to your imagination. To be honest it has a descrete door down to it and it never bothered us. We sat in the bar and one or two of the girls came up for a drink but apart from the fact that you wonder why they are wearing such skimpy dresses in such a cold place crosses your mind they do not cause discomfort or a problem. However, if asked if I would want my children running round there I may become a bit old school Smile

All in all it was a cheap holiday and I have nothing to complain about the hotel. Maybe if I had paid more then I would have had higher expectations.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.
