Hi guysAm eagerly anticipating my fourth trip to Borovets in four years. Couldn't get into the Iglika again this year when we wanted to go so we've had to switch to the Mura (damn all of you for booking out the Iglika on the 25th Feb!). Just wondered if anyone's every stayed in the Mura and what they thought?

Oh my god i've just returned from there, it was interesting! Ate out as food was always cold, rooms smelt of cigarettes and were quite dirty, bathroom was awful. Reception were miserable. Nightclub went on till 4am with about 2 people at the bar. we did have a good time though its a nice resort. Happy new year!re: Mura Hotel - Borovets
Yup I have stayed there, it was very cheap so I cant complain,the rooms smelt of smoke as the old dear that did the cleaning ws walking around the rooms with a rollie stuck to her lip while she did the hoovering
THe two for one cocktails were always a welcoming point after a day on the slopes, kickstarted us for the evening. I was going to go back there this year, but we got moved on to the Lion instead, my tour operator doesn't deal with this hotel any more apparently.

The hotel was ok dont listen to anyone who says differently, the food isnt that good but it isnt in bugaria anyway! The rooms are basic but warm the cleaners are lovely staff were friendly. The hotel is central to everything. The nightclub was a good laugh loads of free drinks. Came back yesterday going to book there again hope you have a great holiday!!!re: Mura Hotel - Borovets

ive stayed at mura and quite liked it as people have said rooms are warm and clean tho dated, foods edable and the bars cheep as chips .....and they kept that log fire roaring well i sat in front of it takin the 2 for 1 offer on cocktails.goin to the samakov this year but will defo be havin a drink with frankie the bar man( thats his nickname,frankie vauhgn,long strory).
