Mura

Hi, anyone stayed at the Mura in Bansko, staying there the week after next, I've heard the food is rank but that doesn't bother me, I'm going to snowboard not eat, anything else I should know?

Stayed there two years ago. If you like sausage then you'll love the food. Think it had free wifi in the lobby. A nice little bar along from reception. 5 min uphill trek to the gondola. Nice and quiet when trying to sleep. I was happy with it. The way I see it is the least amount of time you spend in a hotel on a holiday the better, and what time I did spend in there was fine.

Cheers for that Stu, yes I do like sausage, erm lol. Hoping the wifi extends beyond the lobby by now but no biggy if it doesn't........ :

Stayed there in 2007. We were only on B&B but did pay to eat in the hotel one night. Don't do it!

Nice lobby with open fire and take swimming gear, brilliant huge jacuzzi in the basement. You get a few awkward moments in the lift when you're in ski gear standing next to someone in a bathing suit.

It is a bit of a hike uphill to the gondola but take advantage of the free bus every half hour in the morning and afternoon.
