Murgavets and Pamps

4 more practice sessions to go before returning to Pamps to do the human snowplough. Looking forward so much to the chocco rums that I'm gonna make myself one in a minute.

yabba dabba dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Great to read a bit of praise for the Murgavets, after PP's report I was starting to get worried. Has anyone else been recently who wants to tell me how great it is ?

Got my new boots on now to break them in a bit.

Dave - Don't worry, it's A1!!

Stayed there 22nd Jan. Well pleased with rooms. Booked 2 x twin rooms + 1 2/3 room. All next to each other, 2 inter-connected and expected camp bed but actually got lounge with arm chair & settee, both or which opened out into beds, TVs in all rooms. Bathrooms, complete with hair dryer, shaver point & phone - excellent but beware they're fully tiled and get slippery so use towels on floor & in bath when having a shower. My son managed to pull the shower rail ...

My son managed to pull the shower rail off the wall and pull down the curtain when he slipped getting out of the bath!! but this was fixed next day with no fuss.

Cosmos bar (great milkshakes) & BBQ resturant really good. Spiders Happy Hour - 10pm - midnight, though v quiet when we were there. Swimming pool good but you need to kept swimming otherwise it does get cold - jacuzzi same temp as pool - I like my hotter!

We didn't have probs with tables or food but we did tend to eat earlier than PP. Kids loved being able to keep returning to get more ice cream.

We'd readily go back. If you going next week u may find that kids playing with the lifts your biggest problem. If you have any specific questions email me minieog@msn.com otherwise have a great hol, I'm green with envy

re: Murgavets and Pamps

Thank you Christine for your reply. I stayed at the Pamporovo Hotel at Xmas and found it to be top class. Then I read about the Murgavets being even better and seeing as though it is closer to the 'night life' thought I'd book it.

We tend to eat early anyway so should be OK. Great stuff here goes ......

re: Murgavets and Pamps

I liked the bowling alley at the Pamporovo, much classier than the Perlik. You won't be offered fish fingers & smiley faces at the Murgavets, (friends who stayed at the Pamporovo were not impressed) and the prices seemed to be better in the Murgavets/Perlik. Booze
Beware of the hot water running low around 5pm when lots of people arrive back otherwise excellent.
