Hi , just recieved a reply from borosport re musala pathway
"Hello, the Musala pathway is not a piste, it's a pathway, that's why Musala pathway is no longer in the list of runs on our website. It's not correctly to be in the list. When we have enough snow we will open it..
I guess that's what we all wanted to hear , also seems very honest of them to remove it from the piste list as its a long run and adds a lot to the km stats for the resort , much more honest than ulen in bansko who ...

re:Musala pathway
You just saved me a walk John, I was thinking to take the gondola up and walk down
the Musala pathway to see if there were any problems.
I will now wait until there is enough snow and ski it. Much more sensible.
Does anybody know what is the "Markujik 0 - beginners piste (Suhar)"?
I just can't find it on Borosport web site.
But it is on this site and it has already opened status?

re:Musala pathway
When you leave the gondola and turn right the slope in front of you is Suhar.
It has a very easy drag lift and beginners slope.
Suhar is number 18 on the Borovets list of ski runs and lifts but they do not refer to
it as Markudjik 0.
"re:Musala pathwayThere is 60 cm of snow now in Borovets, how much is good for opening Musala pathway? "
I suspect the vast majority of snow here currently is produced by snow cannons rather than Mother Nature and I doubt there is much chance of putting a cannon on this pathway.
Hi
apparently its taken off the piste map as its now classed as a "road"- but can still be skied if conditions allow- (yes I know there are other "roads" still on the map- but this was asked a few days elsewhere)!
Know plenty folk who have skied this road over the years and if conditions continue this week, we will be on it next week too!
