My Holiday- part 2

Skiing - Had lessons with Borosport, couldn't fault them - Skied everyday and learnt lots. Same went for my brother and the kids..Lucy my youngest (5) was in Kindergarten to start with, she was very bored as she could already ski a little... Spoke to my crystal rep and she organised it for her to be assessed and Borosport allowed her into ski school....
Admittedly i have skied on a lot better, but also have skied on worse...Have some cracking bruises but didn't give up..Could have done ...

Admittedly i have skied on a lot better, but also have skied on worse...Have some cracking bruises but didn't give up..Could have done with sharper edges on my skies, but hey ho...Did have to swap my boots once, but then decided to buy a pair as they were so cheap...paid £125.00 for boots and bag...did see some even cheaper..Worth shopping around if your going to buy some... Unless the conditions improve you really wouldn't want to be on your own skis, even our instructor wouldn't use his own...
Highlight for my eldest Georgia was skiing down from the Whitehouse although at the time i do believe she got a little nervous but Chris and everyone were brilliant with her (I waited at the bottom in The Green King). It was good to meet everyone..Kas and Bobby are an amazing couple and Lucy got very attached....Think she would have gone with them if I’d of let her...
The kids got to do sledging most nights...the guys in the Golden Horn were great with them and use to just let them use the sledges even if we weren't in having a drink. What you do have to watch out for is some of the bars seem to rip the kids off at lunch. I met up with mine on Friday and they tried to charge them twice, Georgia was just going to pay but I pulled them up as Lucy had already paid ...They didn't like it...But it happens with the adults as well, just need to remember what you have had as you don't get a bill until you leave, most of them are ok but you get the odd place...
The Kids got to go horse riding and Tubing as well...All in all a fantastic holiday made better by the people we met...so Big Thanks to Everyone that we met ...will be coming back for sure and i think i speak for everyone in our group....Just hope you get the snow soon !!!
