I lost my dad 10 years ago and my mum on 18th January this year . . . the pain of losing her is still raw and hurts so much . . . . I keep these feelings inside . . . . thanks for listening
As Julie says treasure every moment. Our lovely young bulgarian friend and her partner stayed with us for the weekend in Bg. and last year her father came to the UK for the first time and got killed in a motorway accident. She is still in such a state as she said she was so busy getting on with work/life and thought "one day when I have children I can spend time with them and my parents" - that one day sadly never came. I feel so sorry for her having to live with this regret.

Lost my Wonderful Dad when I was 16 yr (1985) and then my Mum 4 years this July. Have an 8 yr old son - only family I have - mind you he's a git a times as guys on SkiDVD will vouch for!!! Lol....BUT I am sad to have no parents or other family - glad for the friends I have met on this site and SkiDVD!!!
sorry thought this was getting a bit heavy, I am lucky enough to still have both my parents and although they can be a pain in the ass dont know what i would do without them.
Next time I am shopping though will keep a better eye on her
