I just wanted to drop a quick line to all of you fellow skiers/boarders who have larger than average noggins. I have spent years looking for a helmet that fits me without giving me a headache within minutes of strapping it to my planet sized head!
I resigned myself to a wheelie bin with a strategically cut out slot to allow me to see!

I have a head the size and shape of a beach ball. Always struggled for a mountain bike helmet, and eventually found that Giro did them up to 63-65cm. When I went to get a snowboard helmet I naturally looked to Giro and got a 'Shiv' helmet, with plenty of room to spare!There's hope for us ba' heids yet.

Beagleboy,its a nightmare I have the same issues with Bike and motorcycle helmet too. Its nice to hear from a fellow huge head.

Glad you found what you were looking for Moonhead ! Just one thing when you say it does what it says on the tin / does that mean it,s a tin helmet, cos I could have got you one of them from the Army Surplus Store !!!!!re: My Quest is over!
Its not tin. Had it of been and it fitted I would have worn it without complaint. MT I saw your other thread sorry to hear you have cancelled but I think its a good move.Checkout sunweb. Some cracking deals elsewhere.
