I'm doing a solo tour in a few days, I will be in Sofia then planned on staying at the Hotel Rila. Booked with Balkan Travel for 5 nights, just called them to confirm everything but they had "no record" of my reservation. I sent them the email they sent to me confirming my room but they said they could do nothing as all the hotels are full...

I've been searching for web sites or phone numbers for the hotels in Borvets but can't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated...Phone numbers for the Hotel Rila, Samakov or anything...web sites would work too. I hope to arrive on the 8th and plan to stay until the 13th of Feb.

What a nightmare!!

We stayed at the Alpin Hotel last year which is on the slope opposite the Rila so right in the thick of things. Small but of a high quality. They have some luxury lodges as well. Web site is www.alpin-hotel.bg. I would ring rather than e-mail as they take a long time to reply. I wondered if they may need to get written English interpreted.
