Absolutely.

Keep your eyes peeled for 4 legless Londoners with snowboards and come say hello.

Never been to Bansko before though so not sure where we'll be ending up each night.

A lot of bars/mehanas charge for newyears eve, and you would need to book...
I can tell you that JJ Murphys, the Irish Pub, the Friendly Bar and the Lion will be open and will not be charging anything to get in Razz
Im sure others will be the same but i would have to confirm it...
Example of newyear prices for evening... Victoria -- 250lv Surprised don't try it, its fully booked.... most probably with rich Sofians Mad

I'll be there 26th-2nd, heard Amnesia would be good for New Years Eve although will have to ask the Rep about tickets I guess.

Who knows where the Pirin Bistro is?
Is JJ Murphys, the Irish Pub etc easy enough to find?!

I was in Bansko for New Years 2 years ago with 4 lads - Its was a nightmare trying to find a restaurant because we hadnt booked (so book the day you arrive is my advice) We managed to get a seat about 11 but had to rush the dinner because there was HUGE celebrations in the main square (Down the hill close to Insomnia) Definitely make sure you're in the square for 12 o clock.... We headed to the Lion Pub after and that was great banter, it was crowded but everyone was in great spirts... We ...

We hit Amnesia one night (not new years) it was okay, there's another bar called Amigos which was good craic.....Jibber, appreciate the offer but how would I someone find "4 legless Londoners" surrounder by 1000 leggless londoners Smile I will try though!!

re: NEW YEARS IN BANSKO!

My boyf and I will be in Bansko from 28th Dec to 6th Jan. First time in Bansko for us and my first ski holiday. Would be good to meet up with others. We spent last new year in Malaysia and boyf pushed the Irish guy in the pool at 4am so watch out! He did leap in after too though and soaked his only pair of shoes. Had to put up with the smell until they totally dried out!

re: NEW YEARS IN BANSKO!

JJ Murphys is at the top of town, go up between the Perun and Lion Hotels and turn left... The Irish Pub was called Sir Galahads a couple of seasons ago and is located opposite the Mont Blanc apartments, go from the Lion pub down past the Hotel Bulgaria, first right, then left, and go to the end...
Pirin Bistro is on Pirin Street almost opposite the ice rink, was called the Bondi... Great for an after ski snack and drink...
Will agree with being in the square at midnight, entertainment on ...

Will agree with being in the square at midnight, entertainment on stage, fireworks (impressive as well) and a great atmosphere...
But you wont get in any of the bars...
