NO POWER NO SKI

I have it on good advice that the electric required to run the lifts in all three resorts will be diverted to assist in the domestic requirents within Bulgaria.

You will find your individual hotel or bar may well have heating sourced from other metods of power but I can assure you the massive electrical requirements of the ski lifts will not be met and they will be shut at once.

Unless this matter is resolved within days the ski season is over folks.

Crikey...hope not as we are going now on Saturday. I believed the issues were more for Borovets? But then no word from any travel agent....strange.

Any link to info would be great if you have some insider knowledge.

....and how do you think the lifts work when theres a power cut then????? most, agreed not all, most have diesel generator back up, and believe me with the amount Borosport have invested this year they arent going to allow the resort to shut, anyway the supply will be back on very shortly!

I'm with Fraser on this. You must not forget that today is the national holiday so they will resume talks tomorrow. It won't go on much longer than late sat/sun latest.. So you will be fine
