NO SNOW INSURANCE

Can anyone tell me if you can take out insurance on the resort you are going to not having any snow.

re: NO SNOW INSURANCE

most ski insurances will have some form of "no snow" insurance included. Not much though and there are stipulations. If you wanted something more detailed you would have to specify and the insurance would be weighted accordingly.

re: NO SNOW INSURANCE

Im an insurance broker and the policy i used includes Piste Closure from 10th Dec to 30th April. It includes;

Reasonble Transportation Costs to another resort and lift pass. If not possible you will receive £30 a day.

You will not be covered if you took the policy out within 14 days of travelling.

I would imagine most policies are similar

re: NO SNOW INSURANCE

which is why they keep the snow machines on one piste - so you can't claim

re: NO SNOW INSURANCE

we were in Boro Jan 08, skiing cond was poor unless you went right up top. We took some pics of the bare nursery slopes and managed to claim 2 days (non)skiing back.

Off to Tignes in Jann 09, loads of snow. Get in there
