NUTS

Last year in Borovets I really fancied salted peanuts but I couldn't find any. Does anyone know if I am OK to bring some with me, my husband says I won't be allowed to bring nuts into the country is he right Booze Question Wink Booze

i know they are very strict on brazil and dry roasted nuts but i am not sure about salted peanuts,if in doubt i am sure the british consulate in Sofia will help u out,... i in fact smuggled two nuts of my own at xmas and brought them back home and they were not touched in the whole 7 days i was there Razz Razz

Sorry about that, that was my stupid husband, and i can assure you i DID NOT touch his nuts in the 7 days that we were there, but i did take 2 bags of salte d nuts out with me and it was fine, just pack them deep in your case, have fun and don't have too many nuts, you know what i mean. Got back last week and there is an ALDO supermarket near the Rila and they sell pick and mix hot nuts, I had a craving for pistachios and they were very nice!!! Very Happy
