Neilsons have not been in Pamporovo for several years!!!

We were in Pamporovo in Jan 2004 and Neilsons head honcho Dave was there sorting out hotels for the next season,
He had a bust up with the manager of the Murgavets,
They were giving the rooms ment for the Neilsons, Balkan, & Crystal guests to Bulgarians with gold cards, which means they can phone up a few hours before they arrive and get a room, which happend over the new year 2004 when a lot of guests were left without rooms, (they told Neilsons only ten days before guests were due)some ...

He visited the Hotel Peralik and said that was not up to the standard Neilsons expected.(i have heard it has been renovated since then) He had a driver takeing him to Bansko the next day to see if the Hotels & services were better, The hotels & resort were better and so they moved there operation to Bansko and pulled out of Pamporovo altogether. I have been to Bansko for the last two years, as my room was one of those given to gold card owners and we were offered rooms in other hotels around the resort.
So we like Neilsons have not been back since then.
