New Skiis

Just purchased new skiis (for the first time).

Would you use them on the dry ski slope before you go??

re: New Skiis

I wouldn't.

There are more injuries on dry slopes than there are on the real thing. Mainly thumb injuries from getting caught in the matting. TOO RISKY when you are so close to you hols.

Just watch Eurosport and copy everything they do, only about 70mph slower

LOL!! You're right though, those chaps don't half know how to move at lighteneing speed and it all under control - frightens the life out of me just looking at them. Especially when they wipe out at those speeds! Surprised

re: New Skiis

heres a tip if you have new boots wear them for a week at home before you come. they really do need breaking in. My shins were knacked after one day. needed lots of these Booze before going out onto the slopes again Very Happy
