Went down to Filarinskis yesterday in Sussex to get Angie a new pair of skis and ended up getting myself a new pair of Atomic Nomads Ti Smoke. Off to Livingo in Italy on April 16th and really looking forward to giving them a blast. Anybody else got them? Would be intrested in any personal reviews.
Dunno about the skis but Filarinskis is the nearest good shop to us. Hope they treated you well there. I got Nordica boots there years ago, used them last week and still got comments from the guys at Hunters in Boro on the quality.
Excellent Jez - we have known Marco for many years and he is coming to Livingo with us in April. Great to have a former head of ski school as a mate as we get free lessons every day
Just on the subject of kit - if anyone, like Pete or myself has a cheeky late season break in the pipeline it's worth checking out this site for bargains.
The shop is in the little village I live in and currently has a closing down sale on. EVERYTHING is at least 50% off the price you see online, so make sure you ring if you like the look of anything and get the right ...

The shop is in the little village I live in and currently has a closing down sale on. EVERYTHING is at least 50% off the price you see online, so make sure you ring if you like the look of anything and get the right price as deals not listed online. When I say everything I mean everything and not just dodgy old stock. I went yesterday and picked up new season o neill coat, new bolle goggles, bolle helmet and sunglasses all 50% off.
I have no vested interest by the way, just like to share the pleasure of bargain hunting around!
Forgot to add - Angie got herself the latest Blizzard Skis and a new pair of Lange Boots - Ski Poles - Helmet - and some tops, so it wasn't just about me for a change
I don't know the Nomad Ti Smoke, but I have been using the original Nomad Crimson since they were released three seasons ago. I now have a pair of new old stock and I have found them to be one of the best skis I have ever used and I have been an instructor for thirty years, so I have had many pairs over my skiing career. If your Ti's are anything like my Crimsons, you will not be disappointed whether on or off piste.
Happy sliding,
James.
