New Year\'s Eve party in Bansko

Hi! We are a group of 14 going to Bansko for the first time from 29 December and we have nothing arranged for the NY'sE party. What do you recommend? I understand that mehanas are quite popular in Bulgaria, but we would not like a restaurant kind of party where you sit down and eat (and drink of course Very Happy) and a local band plays some local music and if we are lucky some oldies but goldies Smile how is the atmosphere in this mehanas on the NY'sE? Can you recommend us a nice one, that is not ...

To be honest we are more club kind of people for this kind of events. I understand Amnesia is the best club in town, but the people for the management company that arranged us for the accommodation said they might be already fully booked. I tried to call Amnesia but I couldn't get along with them as they don't speak English Surprised . I understand another option could be Oxygen, but I made some research and it looked kind of a small basement club and claustrophobic. Can you recommend some other nice clubs/bars? Thanks! Cheers!

I would say the 'Happy End' the first bar you come to when you come off the mountain will be a good spot for a New Years Eve party. The place is huge, with an upstairs also. They have caged dancers, Bands, & Disco. Great place all round!!!
