New Years Eve

Does anyone know where it is best to spend New Year's Eve in Borovets? I have a 15 and a 12 year old, some of the prices I have been quoted are £80 per person! Surely that is a rip off!

All advise welcome

everywhere... there will be something going on... some bars with have prices for "all in events" but this is bulgaria... if you turn up at the door and want to spend money behind a bar... they will more than likely let you straight in! I am out there new year... and cant see me booking anything... bouncing around the resorts makes it more interesting...

Just be on the slopes at mid night - for the best firework display you'll ever see! Very Happy

The displays are some of the very best - mostly because so many people put on a show. Best advice from matt above - there is a very small risk that you won't get a "prime" view, but you'll still be able to see it.
Have a great time here in Borovets!

Our village of Momchilovtsi ,just outside Pamporovo has a fantastic firework show on New Years eve .
Only problem is ,as the village is so high and the houses are built on hillsides,is if you are on ur balcony the fireworks set off in the village square ,tend to explode about balcony hight Crying
