New Years in Bansko

New Years in Bansko

Hi, We went on our first trip to BG skiing this year and loved it!! We're thinking of going to Bansko this year for New Years but we aren't sure what the snow conditions will be like.

I know they say the season starts in mid December but i guess this is weather dependent! Just wondered if anyone had been in previous years and could say what it was like for them?

Its early in the season - so it might be amazing (less likely) fairly good ok poor none...

The other thing to consider is it will be utterly full and its at this strict time of the year you have MASSIVE gondola queues based upon previous years - try 3 hours waiting.....I think that is strictly the New Years Eve and Day time though.
