New equipment cost

Hi alll
I am a newbie to this site and a newbie skier to Borovets going there mid February!
I see there are a couple of ski shops situated within the hotels. Would anybody know whether new ski boots are any cheaper there compared with prices in UK?
Also, is there a charge to use the floodlit slopes after a certain time in the afternoon?

ski boots do not buy in bulgaria get them here as it will take you 2/3 hrs to have them fitted by a pro and at least you can wear them for an hour or so a night to get use to them as well if any probs with fitting you can take them back and they will sort them out rember dearest not always the best
night sking is charged at local rate cant recall cost though got a feeing it was eightpond ish but dont hold me to it

Mike if you are new to the sport then I would not recommend buying equipment mate. You might not like it!!!

I bought boots early this year in Pamps, cheap'ish but dont do it. When you know your serious get them fitted properly. I gave my "bulgarian Rossignals" to a mate and have had some lovely Salomon boots from Snow and Rock (fully recommend them, spend over 2.5 hours making sure they fitted). They spend time making sure they fitted good which showed as I used them last week in Andorra with absolutly no problems. Dont scrimp on your feet when skiing is concerned.
