New gondola operating in Bansko? - ask team fantASTIKA

Hi

We are 11 guys from Denmark, going Bansko in february, living
at Georgy Hadji - we were there last year, too - had a great time
but are the Gondola working or when?

The new gondola, the new six chair and the new quad are ready to go on December 1st. The official opening with Alberto Tomba and Slavi Trifonov is going to be on December 13. Unfotunately no one knows if there is going to be snow at that time but we all hope for the best!!! The new snow making system is being tested at the present time.

check out the following web-site for the newest updates on the enlarged ski-area of Bansko: www.banskotravel.com. According to their information, the new Gondola is supposted to be operating in the 2003/2004 ski-season. Im am looking forward to going myself in 2004. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!
