New lift at Pamps

Can anyone tell me how the new 6 seat lift has changed things? All the Piste Maps I have found on t'Internet seem to be pre-new-lift. Are there any new runs? The news items all suggested the resort would be enlarged as a result.

I went on the new chairlift it takes 20-25 mins each way, the snow conditions were pretty good for the first 3/4 of the way down and then just stopped. Throughout the whole journey down and back up I saw noone skiing down there. I have loads of pictures of the slopes down that side of the mountain, if you would like to see them.

The chairlift goes down to a village at the bottom of the mountain, I believe it aims to extend the resort to include the accomodation and facilities of this ...

The chairlift goes down to a village at the bottom of the mountain, I believe it aims to extend the resort to include the accomodation and facilities of this village by allowing tourists to ski right down to the chairlift to access the mountain or ski right down these new runs to the resort.

Thanks for the reply. Slope pics would be cool.
We watched the helicoptor every day last year lifting the infrastructure into place, so had expected to see much more news by now. Obviously the project is still in progress so we'll see what it's like in a couple of weeks first-hand. I guess the Piste Map will get updated when it's finished.

Just to add to this. I went on the chair and viewed the new runs. 2 3rds was skiable but towards the bottom you'd have to walk due to conditions; but looked to me to be the best run in Pamps

re: New lift at Pamps

Feedback from the Snowshack guys indicate that it is the best. This is a piste map that shows the new runs but they don't head in the direction shownThey head of the map to the left...link...
