New lifts at Borovets????

PP/Mr Bulgariaski/anyone

Do you know if the new lifts, promised last year, are actually going to happen for 2004/5?

I would really like to know before booking - I doubt we would choose to go to Borovets again if the skiing was the same as last year.

I've been wondering the same thing. Seen loads of holidays at the right time and place, but reluctant to book until the single chair is repaired/replaced.

A friend of mine in samokov told me that they have not done anything till now for the new season

Thats not good news. I should imagine it takes a while to widen the route cutting down all the trees. A mate of mine told me each plyon supporting the lift cables are dropped in via helicopter.

Cant see it being ready for 2004/5 which is a real shame as if its not, I'm not going back. Sad
