New skis

Hi guys

Bought my first ever pair of skis in the end of season sales and I am itching to give them ago,going to the snow dome at tamworth next week do I need to do anything to the skis before I go??

Presuming youve had your boots fitted to the binding (if not they can do it there Im sure)

How do I do that snow white?? Never skied before !! Only bought them because they were cheap! Only joking

You clip one on each ear - hurts a little at first but you'll soon get used to them!

Now all you need to do is buy me some so I don't have to use them horrid hired ones!!! I'm sure I would ski better with new ones!

You need to make sure you have them on the right feet.
i.e. left on left and right on right

if theyre brand new you need to get some wax into them. Tamworth is more crushed ice than snow, so get some granulated wax, even if you just rub it on youll 'self ' polish them as you ski. watch out for the metal plates between the two travelators as well, dont want to screw up your bases on the first time you use them
